Welcome!

Welcome!

If you are a parent reading these pages, sneak off to take a nap instead -- I know how tired you are. But after your nap, come back and dip into a few posts for some comfort, tips, and chuckles.

Kids can really wear you out but they are also the greatest joys of our lives. After teaching for twenty-five years and being a parent, step-parent, aunt to many (read that MANY) and grandmother, I have lots of stories to tell. I also love to read and share many tips I have picked up from reading about children, research, and current events.

Included on these pages are articles from both my Parents columns and Seniors columns. I cover all sides of life -- the beginnings (the babies), the middle (toddlers, teens, and parents) and the, well, let's just say the extremely late middle (seniors like me). All ages are funny, sad, wise, foolish, and worthy of note.

Thanks for taking the time to read my notes on life. I hope my stories make you think, laugh, and love.

In friendship, Lisa Marie
